Broxtowe properties claiming council tax exemption by street

To find a street you are interested in, simply go down the list below, which covers all of Broxtowe. Across the Borough there are 615 council tax exempt properties and 58 registered HMOs.

519 (84%) of the council tax exempt properties and 55 (93%) of HMOs are in Beeston.

Following a request I made, Broxtowe Borough Council have kindly provided me with data showing Council Tax exempt properties and registered Houses in Multiple Occupation (HMOs) by street. They told me that the information was not available by ward, but the street addresses did include a location and it is this I have used to group streets across the Borough, which I did by adding a column and inserting a letter prefix. I then added a column to show the percentage of council tax exempt properties on each street listed (if a street name is not included in the list, it is because council records, at the present time, show no such properties for that street.

I received the data on 23 February 2015.

The 1st column is my location letter.
The 2nd column is the street name listed alphabetically.
The 3rd column is the total no. of properties in the street
The 4rd column is the no. of council tax exempt properties (student property).
The 5th column is the no. of HMOs in the street.
The 6th column is a column I have added showing the percentage of council tax exempt properties in col.4 against the no. of properties in the street (col.3).
